MJK Strategies, LLC provides on-going strategic planning, direction, and management services to the senior scientists and executives of this cutting-edge chronic disease research laboratory. Direction and services have included, but are not limited to, developing, executing, and updating a strategic plan, goal tracking, business development, media and communications approach, and contract negotiation. Reviewing corporate direction and organizational structure, technology enhancements, and financial valuation services will be focused on for the next year.

American Diabetes Association
MJK Strategies, LLC provided input to the Capital Region Planning Board on strategy for corporate sponsorships through the identification of benefits of corporate wellness programs and synergism and ROI between a corporate health and safety program, health insurance program, and employee wellness program. Wellness initiatives related to the ADA “move your numbers” campaign were provided by MJK including the provision of professional exercise and warm up videos for virtual Tour de Cures. MJK coordinated the relationship between the ADA and wellness program providers for wellness social media communications.

MJK was contracted by a confidential client to join their strategic M&A team to process them successfully through the M&A transaction and review overall corporate health from an operational, cultural, resources, and strategic standpoint. Business operations were reviewed from business development, through project management and execution, to client and employee satisfaction. Redundancies, organizational changes and training needs were identified, and processes and communications streamlined and enhanced allowing the ultimate organization once merged to function at a higher level. A corporate wellness program focusing on employee mental and physical wellness was introduced and coordinated with the company’s health insurance program and human resources department. The culmination of this project involved the improvement of a number of KPIs for the merged company.
